a. Pull up the inner tube completely, fill it with oil
   up to the top, and then install the cap bolt.
NOTE:
Do not install the fork spring.
b. Place the front fork leg in a press and gradu-
   ally apply pressure to remove the oil seal.

                                                                CAUTION:
                                                                • Excessive force will damage the bushings.
                                                                  Damaged bushings must be replaced.
                                                                • Avoid bottoming the inner tube into the out-
                                                                  er tube during the above procedure, as the
                                                                  oil flow stopper will be damaged.

NOTE:
                                                                    Bends/damage/scratches → Replace.
While holding the damper rod assembly with the                  EWA13650

                                                                tube as this may dangerously weaken it.

                                                                   Out of specification → Replace.
